Family Information:

I am a Husband and Father.

Kristen became my wife in 1989. We raised 2 children, Caleb and Lanie, who continue to bring joy to our lives. Caleb is a software developer for a credit union and Lanie is an early childhood educator.

I am a Teacher.

I began my professional teaching career in 1992. Over the years, I have taught all areas of secondary science and have coached boys and girls basketball, cross country and track. I transitioned to a technology position in 2015, but continue to teach a Physics class.

I am a Learner.

I have always wanted to figure out how to do something new, how to solve a problem. I never had that one consuming interest that demanded all my time and energy. I have enjoyed spending time learning a diversity of hobbies and interests that include music, photography, calligraphy, and various computer/edtech topics.

I’ll close this page with one of my favorite quotes:

“Success is in the Journey, not the Destination”

Personal Information:

I enjoy photography, music (listening, singing, playing, recording), OU softball/football and all things tech.
