Family Information:

I am a Husband and Father.

Kristen became my wife in 1989. We raised 2 children, Caleb and Lanie, who continue to bring joy to our lives.

I am a Teacher.

I began my professional teaching career in 1992. Over the years, I have taught all areas of secondary science and have coached boys and girls basketball, cross country and track. My wife is the best math teacher any student could have, and both of our children are currently pursuing degrees in education.

I am a Learner.

I have always wanted to figure out how to do something new, how to solve a problem. I never had that one consuming interest that demanded all my time and energy. I have enjoyed spending time learning a diversity of hobbies and interests that include music, photography, calligraphy, and various computer/edtech topics.

I’ll close this page with one of my favorite quotes:

“Success is in the Journey, not the Destination”

Personal Information:

I enjoy photography, music (listening, singing, playing, recording), OU softball/football and all things tech.
