What is BPA?
Business Professionals of America (BPA) is a CareerTech Student Organization (CTSO) that is co-curricular with Business, Marketing, and Information Technology Education (BMITE) courses. BPA aims to help students develop leadership and professionalism through endeavors in community service, career development, civic engagement, and competitive events.
Who Can Join BPA?
Any 9th – 12th grade Byng student that is currently enrolled in or has previously taken a BMITE course may (and is highly encouraged to!) join BPA. A list of BMITE courses is below. Students must commit to join BPA by the end of September. Contact an advisor and join our Google Classroom if you’d like to join!

All BPA announcements and information for students will be posted in the BPA Google Classroom. Ask an advisor for the code to join!
Torch Awards Program:
All BPA members are required to participate in the Torch Awards program. This program helps students develop professionalism and leadership through activities in various categories. A member must qualify for at least the Executive Award by the end of February to be allowed to attend the State Leadership Conference.
